Overview

Western Baking Corporation is located on a 28-acre Parcel with ample room for future growth and expansion. Completely upgraded and remodeled in 2006, the Bakery boasts the following features:

  • 225,000 Square Feet of Production, Warehousing, R & D, Maintenance, and Office Space.
  • Temperature-controlled processing and packaging room, separate warehouses for raw materials, packaged materials, and finished goods.
  • Ceiling heights up to 24 ft., water filter systems, separate room for scaling allergen ingredients.
  • Modern mixing room with tiled walls, floors and finished ceiling, separate room for bulk flour and sugar storage, ample 50° storage for sensitive ingredients.
  • Enclosed oven room with 5 Baker Perkins 300 ft. 7-zone direct gas fired ovens, make-up air to create a positive pressure environment, modern oven control and safeties.

Packing Capabilities

  • Automatic wire-cut tray packing
  • Automatic sandwiching and tray-loading
  • Bag in box – gusseted bags, slug packs – 4 to 12-inch length
  • Single-serve/vend packs 2x2/2x3 pack, code dating with time stamp
  • Double metal detecting
  • High speed cartoning, high speed auto-feed wrappers
